Yankee Beef Stew
# short ribs or stew beef, cut in 3" pieces and trimmed of excess fat, cold water, sliced carrots, sliced onions, sliced celery, bay leaf, salt, freshly ground pepper, beets, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces, peeled and coarsely chopped fresh tomatoes, lemon juice, shredded cabbage
excellent taste, simple to prepare. I use stew beef rather than short ribs (no fat to trim)

- 2 lbs stew beef, in cubes, 1/3C flour, 1/2t salt, 1/2t pepper, 1/2t garlic powder, 1/2t onion powder, 2T oil

Sweet Mustard Roast (Pork Or Beef)
beef or pork roast (mine was still frozen when I put it in), molasses (this looks so much like melted ear wax to me) (that was kind of gross.) (sorry.), dijon mustard, garlic powder, white vinegar (apple cider vinegar would work well, too)
