Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ c butter
  • ½ c whipping cream
  • ¾ c grated Parmesan
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and cream in 2 qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until margarine is melted.

  2. Stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.

  3. Note - freshly grated Parmesan will result in a thinner sauce than when canned cheese is used.
