Frozen christmas punch--yum!
- 3 Bananas
- 2 packages Cherry Koolaid
- 1 package Orange Koolaid
- 1 large can (44 or 46 oz.) pineapple juice
- 8 c water
- 2 c sugar
- 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 l Vernors or other ginger ale
- 1 container raspberry sherbet
Blend bananas until smooth, mix all ingredients except ginger ale, and place in 1 qt containers to freeze.
Remove from freezer and let thaw just to the point where the blocks of punch can be removed from the container.
Chop up into slush and mix in pineapple and/or raspberry sherbet and ginger ale (preferably Vernors) until it is the right consistency (probably about 1.5 liters of Vernors per 1 gallon of punch).
Serve in cups with spoons.
