A yummy fall/winter bread. It makes the whole house smell wonderful
- 1 ½ c all-purpose flour
- 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c canned pumpkin (or mashed cooked pumpkin)
- ½ c Butter, softened (1 stick)
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
Heat oven to 350 deg F. (Be careful to not have it to high. It can burn).
Combine all ingredients in a large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping the bowl often, until well mixed (2 to 3 min).
Spoon into a greased 9X5 cake pan (or three greased 5X3 in mini loaf pans). Bake for 45 to 55 min (or 30 to 35 min if using mini pans). Until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
