Pumpkin Rolls

A quick yummy fall roll

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ c all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¾ c canned pumpkin (about 1/2 small a small can)
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon, plus more for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 deg F

  2. In a medium mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, salt and cinnamon.

  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, oil, and brown sugar.

  4. Add pumpkin mix to dry mix, stirring with a fork until combined.

  5. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface.

  6. Shape into rolls. Smaller rolls are better.

  7. Put rolls onto a large baking sheet linned with foil.

  8. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over rolls.

  9. Bake for 9 to 11 min or until golden brown.

  10. Serve warm !
