Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c crisco
- 1 c light molasses
- 2 eggs
- 4 c all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
Instructions
Cream sugar and crisco.
Add molasses and egg. Mix well.
Sift/mix together flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Refrigerate for a couple of hours. (Dough will keep in fridge for up to 2 weeks according to my MIL.)
Preheat oven to 350 deg F
Make into balls the size of a walnut.
Roll in sugar and put on greased cookie sheet about 3 in apart.
Bake for 12 to 15 min.
