Vegan Pizza Burgers

Easy, fast & a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 c TVP (Textured Vegetable Protein)
  • 1 c water
  • 16 oz can of pizza sauce
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 12 slices of vegan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil the water.

  2. Rehydrate the TVP with the water and let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Mix in the pizza sauce with the TVP.

  4. Split all buns into halves.

  5. Place a slice of cheese on each bun half.

  6. Apply a liberal dose of mix on top of each bun half.

  7. Heat pairs in the microwave for 20 seconds each.
