Cheesey Chicken And Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can Cream of Chicken (Or Potato or any cream soup) 10 3/4 oz
  • 1 1/3 c water
  • ¾ c uncooked long grain rice (works with white and brown rice)
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp group black pepper (optional)
  • 2 c forzed vegetables
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb)
  • ½ c shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese
  • garlic powder, to taste (optional)
  • Italian seasoning, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 deg F

  2. Stir the soup, water, rice, seasonings, and veggies in a shallow 2 qt baking dish

  3. Top with chicken.

  4. Bake Covered for 50 min (or 1 h 20 min if frozen chicken) or until done.

  5. Top with Cheese and let stand for 10 min
