Limpa (Swedish Rye)

Ingredients

  • ¾ c water
  • 1/3 c milk
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 3 tbsp butte,r in pieces
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 ¾ c flour
  • 1 ¼ c medium rye flour
  • 1 ½ tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp crushed fennel seeds (optional)
  • ½ tsp crushed aniseed (optional)
  • 1 ½ tsp grated orange zest
  • 1 tbsp gluten
  • 2 ½ tsp yeast

Instructions

  1. Put ingredients in bread machine (in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer) and run on the white cycle.
