Pain De Maison Sur Poolish

This is a bread machine bread that uses a starter

Ingredients

Poolish (starter):

  • 1 c water
  • 1 ¼ c flour
  • ¼ tsp yeast

Bread:

  • 1/3 c water
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp gluten

Instructions

  1. Put poolish ingredients into machine and run on the dough cycle for 10 min.

  2. After 10 min, stop machine. Turn machine off. And let dough sit in machine for 6 hours.

  3. Combine water and yeast, stirring to dissolve. Pour into the bread pan, and add other bread ingredients.

  4. Rum machine on French cycle.
