Black Bottom Cupcakes

Ingredients

The White:

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 oz chopped bittersweet chocolate

The Black:

  • 1 ½ c flour
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 5 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 c water
  • 1/3 c vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Assemble The White via the creaming method.

  2. Assemble The Black via the muffin method.

  3. Pour The Black into lined muffin tins.

  4. Drop spoonfuls of The White on top.

  5. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
