Use to make Breakfast rolls, cinnamon rolls, and dinner rolls
Ingredients
- Scald 2 cups of milk then cool
- Dissolve 2 packages dry yeast in ¼ cup lukewarm water with 1 tsp sugar
- Lest rise until cup is full (about 5 minutes)
- In a large mixing bowl combine:
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ cup Mazola oil
- 3 beaten egg yolks
- 5 ½ - 6 cups flour
Instructions
When milk has cooled, add to the ingredients in large bowl and add yeast mixture to this with 1 cup flour. When well blended, slowly add remaining flour, about ½ cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat until mixer won’t take anymore then beat remaining with a wooden spoon.
Enough flour had been added when the dough doesn’t move (between 5-6 cups)
Let rise until double in size (1- 1 ½ hours)
Shape into dinner rolls and place them on greased baking sheets
Brush tops with butter. Let rise again about 45- 60 minutes
Bake 350⁰ - 375⁰
