Caramel Bars

Ingredients

Layer 1:

  • ¾ cup soft butter
  • 1 c flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 c oatmeal
  • ½ tsp soft
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Save ¼ for later
  • Layer 2:
  • 32 caramels
  • 3 tbsp cream
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 6 oz chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix layer one ingredients and set asside ¼ of mix

  2. Press in a 9x13 pan and bake 10 minutes at 350०

  3. Layer 2:

  4. Melt caramels, cream, and butter

  5. Pour over crust

  6. Top with chocolate chips and nuts

  7. Add remaining crust

  8. Bake 10 minutes
