Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 c hot water
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 c flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Filling
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Boil together water and butter

  2. When butter is melted, stir in flour

  3. Remove from heat and stir until a smooth paste

  4. When cool, add 4 unbeaten eggs one at a time, stirring 5 minutes

  5. Drop on cookie sheet

  6. Makes 12 large cream puffs

  7. Bake 15 minutes at 425०

  8. 30 minutes at 350०

  9. Filling

  10. Mix sugar and flour in a pan

  11. Add milk, whisk well

  12. Cook on medium heat until thickened

  13. Add small amount of cooked mixture to beaten egg

  14. Then add egg mixture to milk mixture

  15. Cook 3-5 minutes stirring constantly

  16. Add vanilla
