Shepherd Bread- Flat Bread

From Shelly Great with soup!

Ingredients

  • 2 c warm water (110⁰)
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Mix together in large bowl until yeast dissolves
  • Add:
  • 4 c flour

Instructions

  1. Stir with wooden spoon, do not knead

  2. Spray another big bowl wit hpam and put dough in and let rise until double in size (Dough will be sticky)

  3. Grease cookie sheet, divide dough into three and spread with back of spoon until each loaf is about 1 ½ inch thick

  4. Melt ¼ cup butter and brush on top of loaves

  5. Let rise until doubled in size

  6. Bake at 425⁰ for 10 minutes and then at 375⁰ for 20 minutes
