Weissbier Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ c Black Beans (rinsed)
  • 1/3 c Carrot (grated)
  • 1/3 c Celery (minced)
  • ¼ c Red Bell Pepper (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp Coriander(ground)
  • 1 tsp Cumin(ground)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp Chipotle Pepper Powder
  • ¼ c Wheat beer (Preferably a Hefeweissen)
  • ½ c Sour Cream

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, roughly mash half of the beans with a fork. Stir in all other ingredients, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Stir and serve with tortilla chips.
