Kick It Up A Notch Green Beans


  • 1 lb green beans
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • Chili pepper oil (or red pepper flakes and EVOO)


  1. Steam the green beans to the desired squeakiness (I hate squeaky, so we steam them for 15 minutes).

  2. Heat the oil in a saute pan on medium heat, then add the garlic and saute for 30 seconds, then add the green beans and saute for an additional minute.

  3. Serve.
