Peach Cobbler

Back when McDonald's had peach cobbler it was my FAVORITE thing ever.... never tasted anything like it until now!!! AND this is a slow cooker recipe. The original recipe calls for a 6qt cooker with the warning that is will not work in a 4 qt so I reduced the recipe down to a 4 qt size. Both recipes are here.

Ingredients

For 6 quart crock pot:

  • 4 c fresh or frozen sliced peeled (i didn't peel them) peaches
  • ¼ c sugar
  • 1 c Original Bisquick mix (I substituted - 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 4 tsp butter or crisco)
  • ½ c sugar
  • 1 c milk

For 4 quart crock pot:

  • 2 2/3 c fresh or frozen sliced peeled ( i didn't peel them) peaches
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2/3 c Original Bisquick mix (I substituted - 2/3 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/3 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp butter or crisco)
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1 c milk

Instructions

  1. Spray crock pot with non-stick cooling spray

  2. In large bowel, gently toss peaches and 1st amount of sugar

  3. Turn into crock pot

  4. In medium bowl, gently beat Bisquick mix, sugar and milk with whisk until blended

  5. Pour over peaches

  6. Cover, cook for 3 hours on low heat setting or until cobbler is set in center

  7. Serve cobbler with Ice Cream!!!!
