Ingredients
- 6 egg yolks (separated) 6 egg whites
- ½ cup cold water
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp orange or lemon extracts
- 1/3 tsp almond extract
- 1 ½ cup flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¾ tsp cream of tarter
Instructions
Beat egg yolks until lemon colored
Add cold water, continue beating until thick.
Add sugar gradually
Add flavorings
Fold in flour a little at a time
Beat egg whites until foamy and the cream of tartar and beat until it holds peaks fold into egg yolk mixture
Put in angel food pan and bake at 325⁰ for 1 hour
