Unkle Ken's Dead Chicken

Matt entered this recipe on his iPhone at the dinner table while Heather and her Mom discussed this favorite from her childhood.


  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 2 cans water
  • 1 chicken boullion cube
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • onion powder, to taste
  • 1 ½ c rice
  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • mozzerella or cheddar cheese
  • croutons (optional)


  1. Combine ingredients in casserole pan.

  1. Cover and cook for 1.5 hours.

  1. 10 minutes before done sprinkle cheese and optional croutons. Cover and return to oven.
