The recipe I grew up on as a kid!
Ingredients
- 3 large bananas, mashed
- 1 ½ c sugar
- ½ c vegan shortening
- Egg Replacer equal to 2 eggs
- 6 tbsp sour milk (non-dairy)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 c flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ c nuts, chopped or ground
- ½ c chocolate chips
Instructions
Mix bananas, sugar & shortening together, & add Egg Replacer eggs & milk. Sift dry ingredients together & add to the above. Add nuts & chocolate chips last. Bake in 2 greased loaf pans at 350°F for 45 minutes, or bake in washed & greased vegetable or soup cans filled 2/3 full for about 30 minutes.
