This is the bread recipe from the famous Chart House. It's hearty and delicious. Serve with the agave butter.
- 1 c white flour
- 2 c whole wheat flour
- ½ c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ c non-dairy milk
- ½ c molasses
- 2 sticks Earth Balance Buttersticks
- ½ c agave
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Sift the dry ingredients together.
Combine the liquids.
Blend all together with electric mixer until well blended.
Pour into 9x5" loaf pan. Bake 1 ½ hours.
Mix the Buttersticks and agave together well. Store in the refrigerator.
Serve bread slices with the butter spread.
