Chocolate Lover's Frosting

To go with Moist and Tender Chocolate Cake


  • 3 c sifted powdered sugar, divided
  • 2/3 c baking cocoa
  • ½ c (1 stick) vegan butter, softened
  • 5 to 6 T non-dairy milk, divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Beat 1 C powdered sugar, cocoa, vegan butter, 2 T non-dairy milk and vanilla extract in small mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in remaining sugar and non-dairy milk until smooth.
