Fresh Fruit Marinade


  • ½ c honey or agave
  • ¼ c water
  • ¼ c lime juice
  • ¼ c orange liqueur or orange juice


  1. In small saucepan combine honey/agave and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Stir in lime juice and orange liqueur. Cool completely. In medium bowl combine fruit. Pour marinade over the fruit and mix gently. Cover; refrigerate 1-2 hours to blend flavors. Makes 8 (½ C) servings.
