- 1 6-oz can no-salt-added tomato paste
- Half an apple, diced (with or without skin)*
- 1/3 c water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice*
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp dried oregano
Combine all ingredients in a blender or Vitamix until smooth.
*Note: 1/3 C apple juice may be substituted for the apple and water. 1 T vinegar may be substituted for the lemon juice.
