Serve this easy crockpot sauce over rice or pasta.
Ingredients
- 28 oz tomatoes, crushed
- ¼ c lentils, rinsed
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp toasted cumin seeds
- 1 fresh green chili pepper, minced
- ½ c picante sauce
Instructions
Combine the tomatoes, lentils, onions, garlic, sugar, cumin, chili, and sauce in crockpot. Cover and cook on low until the lentils are tender, 6 to 8 hours.
