Tequila Lime Marinade


  • 4 limes
  • 1 c tequila
  • ¼ c olive oil
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded, sliced
  • 1/2 bunch chopped fresh cilantro


  1. Slice and squeeze limes into a food processor or blender. Add the tequila, olive oil, salt, garlic, jalapenos and cilantro - blend the mixture until totally combined. Place lime-tequila mixture into a large plastic bag and add protein or vegetables. Seal bag and marinate in the fridge for several hours or overnight. Remove protein or vegetables from the bag and grill over medium-high heat until cooked.
