Teriyaki Tofu


  • 2 lbs Central Soyfoods Tofu


  • ¼ c soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp agave or sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Lightly grease a large baking sheet (with a lip) or 9x13" baking dish. Mix marinade ingredients together and set aside.

  3. Slice tofu into ⅜" thick pieces and line up in baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip pieces over and bake another 15 minutes. This prebaking will turn the tofu slightly golden and give it a firmer texture.

  4. Remove tofu from oven and pour marinade evenly over the prebaked slices. Return to oven and heat through, 10 to 15 minutes more.

  5. Delicious served hot with rice on the side and a steamed vegetable. Also great cold for sandwiches.
