- ½ c sunflower seeds
- 2 c cashews (soaked overnight)
- ¼ c nutritional yeast
- 2 ½ c warm water
- 1 tsp ACV
- 1 ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
- Few twists pick salt
- Several shakes crushed red pepper flakes (less if you don't like heat)
- ½ tsp each garlic, mustard powder, turmeric
- 1 pkg Pamona's Pectin
Oil a glass bowl with olive oil, set aside. Mix calcium pack with ½ C water, set aside.
In a food processor, blend everything but the pectin. Add remaining 2 C water to a pot and bring to a boil. Slowly add the pectin, mix for 2-3 minutes. Add seeds/spice mixture to combine, then add calcium water.
Once everything looks fairly smooth, carefully pour into oiled glass bowl and smooth out. Refrigerate 2-3 hours, uncovered, to set.
Enjoy shredded, sliced or with crackers!
