A good, healthy breakfast alternative. It is eaten cold or room temperature.
Mix together in a large bowl and store in the refrigerator:
- 3 or 4 c. chopped apples (about 6 apples)
- 7 c. rolled oats (not quick--old fashioned/regular is better)
- 4 c. milk
- ½ c. orange juice
- 2/3 c. honey
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¾ c. raisins
- ½ c. nuts (optional)
Great as a snack too!
